But as Robert Parry observes, Bush is the one doing the rewriting. "Bush’s argument is that he didn’t lie the nation into war; he and his top aides were just misled by the same faulty intelligence that Congress saw," he writes. In reality, however, "the White House sees far more detailed intelligence than what is shared with Congress." Parry adds that "perhaps the strongest evidence of Bush’s proclivity to lie about Iraq came after the invasion, when he began falsifying the record – rewriting history – with claims that Saddam Hussein had barred U.N. weapons inspectors from entering Iraq. ... Perhaps the lower 4/5 of the IQ bellcurve can not comprehend what exactly it takes to keep America #1 in all areas of life and the world...in fact, I'm sure they can not.The administration is doing what's necessary for multifold reasons, primarily economic, and it would not work out too well for us if everyone (in other countries who would have us fail) knew our real strategy, motivations, and power-techniques for getting there. WMD...get a life, I can't believe anyone is that stupid (A) To think he did not at one recent point have and want them, (B) fustrate all efforts to detect/inspect them, (C) would have killed any and everyone he could with them, and (D) dumped them right before the war so idiots like you would fall for it. Anyone with minimal insight knows this obvious fact, it just pains me to see so many, so blind to reality, as to give one ounce of resistance or grief to leaders that are clearly pushing this country forward as _the_ superpower of the world.
